Let’s find your range.

No account needed. Use your current measurements.

The formula uses different coefficients from male and female study groups. This is not a question about your gender identity. Choose “not sure” if neither is appropriate.

Which activity level fits me?
  • Mostly seated: Desk-based day, little planned exercise.
  • Lightly active: Some walking and occasional exercise.
  • Active: Regular exercise and plenty of daily movement.
  • Very active: Physical work or substantial daily training.

These are broad whole-day estimates. Do not add exercise calories again.

A quick safety check

Are you pregnant or breastfeeding, do you have a current or past eating disorder, or a medical condition or prescribed diet that affects your nutritional needs?

Your answers stay in this page’s memory. They are not submitted to our enquiry team or included in a share link.

A starting point.
Not a strict rule.

Every body is different. A useful estimate considers your size, age and everyday movement—not your nationality.

How the estimate works

We use the Mifflin–St Jeor equation for resting energy, then a broad activity multiplier (1.4, 1.6, 1.8 or 2.0). These activity bands and the maintenance/weight-loss ranges are product estimates, not a validated individual treatment plan. Ethnicity is not used. This is not a measured metabolic test.

Our automatic-target limits of 1,500–5,000 kcal/day are conservative product safeguards, not universal safe limits. We withhold results when the screening indicates individual guidance is needed. Estimates may be less accurate for unusual body composition, hormone therapy or older adults.
