This policy explains how MyHealthyMeals handles information from our website, mobile app, calorie tracker and meal services. The calorie tracker is intended for adults aged 18 and over.
What we collect
- Your name, WhatsApp number, delivery address and dietary preferences.
- For corporate plans: company name, TRN and billing contact.
- Anonymous usage data from this website (Google Analytics, AdSense).
- If you open a partner referral link: a random browser identifier, referral code, page visits and on-site action clicks. The identifier is pseudonymous and the CRM does not store your raw IP address for referral reporting.
- If you create an app account: your email, country, timezone, preferred units, nutrition goals and versioned consent choices.
- Food diary entries you choose to save, including calories and macronutrients.
- Food photographs only when you choose photo analysis. Photo analysis remains optional and requires separate permission.
- Information you voluntarily provide in a partner or franchise enquiry.
How we use it
- To deliver your meals correctly and on time.
- To improve the menu and the plan we recommend you.
- To send order updates by WhatsApp — never marketing without your consent.
- To show partners how many visitors, registrations and paying customers their referral links produce, and to calculate referral rewards.
- To operate your private nutrition diary and show your progress.
- When enabled and separately approved by you, to create an estimated nutrition draft from a food photograph. You review the estimate before it is added to your diary.
- To secure accounts, prevent referral abuse and respond to partner or franchise enquiries.
Nutrition and photo estimates
Nutrition figures, especially figures estimated from photographs, are general wellness guidance. They are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Photo results remain estimates and should be reviewed and corrected before saving.
Optional photo analysis uses Google Gemini. Photographs are re-encoded to remove camera and location metadata, stored privately, and deleted immediately after analysis or within 24 hours if analysis is not completed. An unconfirmed analysis draft is retained for up to 30 days. The estimate is excluded from diary totals until you review and confirm it.
Who we share it with
We use information only with people and service providers who need it to operate the service, such as our kitchen and delivery team, hosting and authentication providers, payment providers and accountant. Optional photo analysis uses Google Gemini only after you consent. We do not sell or rent personal data.
Referral partners receive aggregate results. Their dashboard does not reveal food photographs, nutrition history, health information, delivery addresses or individual customer identities.
Your choices
Marketing, photo analysis and franchise contact are separate choices. Every customer receives referral-sharing capability automatically, but sharing is optional. Refusing an optional choice does not prevent you from using the manual calorie diary. You can withdraw marketing or photo-analysis consent in the app or by contacting us.
Retention and security
We use access controls and encryption in transit. We keep app nutrition data while your account is active or until you delete it. Franchise enquiries are scheduled for deletion after their stated review period. Payment, invoice and transaction records may be restricted and retained where tax, accounting, fraud-prevention or legal obligations require it.
Your rights
You can request a copy of eligible app data or permanently delete your app account. Use the in-app privacy controls or visit Delete your MyHealthyMeals account. You can also contact info@myhealthymeals.ae. Signing out, uninstalling the app or opting out of marketing does not delete your account.
